3 day bicycle tour guided as well. The tour will be AROUND STEINFURT surrounds the two districts of Borghorst and Burgsteinfurt. Away from the main carriage ways, the tour goes through a colorful mosaic of fields and grasslands, past impressive farm yards and idyllic meadows. The route is about 50 km long and crosses many junctions with the bicycle park Münsterland. As the mood takes you or rather your stamina you can individualize your day or multiday trip.

2 overnight stays with breakfast (double room/shower/WC), a guided evening tour through the old, guided tour through the noble Bagno park and townmaps.

the programme:
Day 1: Late afternoon arrival. You'll be welcomed by a "Kiepenkerl" and Steinfurt liqueur. Start your first familiarisation tour, taking you to an original old inn where you'll be served a hearty platter of ham ... and you even get to fry your own egg over the open fire!
Day 2: After a good breakfast you'll be set up for the day, ready to meet your tour guide and set off on a full-day Pättkestour - or a map-based cycle tour - to the castles of Steinfurt, Alst and Welbergen. On the way, quaint old inns will probably tempt you to take a rest. To round off the day, you can look forward to some delicious traditional Münsterland menu in your hotel.
Day 3: After breakfast, you'll meet up at the Bagno Concert Gallery for a look around. Perhaps there's time for one last wonder around the city's historic old quarter, or a final Pättkestour?

3 day cycle tour - independent
Day 1: Arrival during the day (by 16.00 hrs at the latest). First familiarisation tour of Steinfurt's historic old quarter. In the evening you'll get to know the Münsterland's tasty side while savoring a hearty ham platter.
Day 2: After breakfast, a full-day cycling tour using maps. Go from Steinfurt via Nordwalde, Altenberge, Laer and Horstmar and then back to Steinfurt.
Day 3: full-day cycling tour via Horstmar, past Schöppingen, via Ochtrup and Metelen, and back to Steinfurt, depart for home.

This tour will show you plenty of functional mills with diverse design. This tour is a piece of engineering history of the oldest craft and a romantic view into the past. This tour takes you around through a diverse culture landscape with gorgeous towns and lively cities in the Steinfurter area: Castle and lower mill (water mill), Hollich Mill (windmill), Halverde oil and grain mill (double water mill), Surenburg Castle, Bentlage Castle and Monastery, Rheine; Gildehaus East Mill (windmill); Ochtrup Mountain Mill (windmill); Welbergen Castle; Plagemann's Mill in Metelen (water mill).
